About me
Ashley van der Meer is the 9-12 Assistant Principal at Frankfurt International School and has worked there for 17 years in various capacities. Prior to her tenure at FIS, she worked in a US inner-city public school for 10 years. She holds degrees in German and English literature, a Master’s in German Literature and 30+ Master’s credits in Educational Leadership. Not only does Ashley lead the Pastoral Support Support Team in developing SEL curriculum and practices to support the growth of students in the various stages of their development, she also continues to teach a course, allowing her to remain actively connected to teaching and learning.
