About me
Catherine Pierre-Louis is from Canada. She brings over 20 years of experience in international education as a leader and a teacher. Ms. Cath, as the kids call her, is a passionate educator who believes that we can inspire, challenge and connect with learners to help them make a difference.Ms. Pierre-Louis holds a Bachelors degree in geography, Bachelor of Education, and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management from Canadian Universities. Additionally, she holds an advanced certificate in leadership research and practice in IB education. As a member of the IBEN team, she consults schools on the IB PYP and runs workshops and site evaluation visits for IB.
Through the years, she has held many roles including: Head of PYP Schools, Primary Principal & PYP Coordinator, Team Leader, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Learning Support Teacher, and Homeroom Teacher. She loves traveling, exploring, and learning from the different cultures. She has had the pleasure of living and learning in Canada, England, New Zealand, Czech Republic, Mexico, Chile, Solomon Islands, USA, Thailand, and China. Catherine joined WAB in 2020 as the ES Vice Principal and continuing as the ES Principal from August 2021.
