Elena Tatiana Modrisan is the Middle School MYP Language Acquisition Head of Department and an instructional leader with extensive experience supporting multilingual and diverse learners across international schools in Oman, Ethiopia, Myanmar, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. Her work centers on Universal Design for Learning, AI-enhanced instructional scaffolds, and translanguaging practices that strengthen literacy development across content areas. She coaches teachers on designing flexible, inclusive tasks that integrate technology purposefully to remove linguistic and cognitive barriers. She is committed to helping educators transform curriculum and assessment through innovation, equitable design, and practical strategies that prepare all learners for future-ready challenges.
