About me
Kari Detwiler is an experienced IBDP (History, Global Politics, Geography) and MYP teacher with over 18 years of school experience in China, Qatar, and the U.S.. Originally from the United States, Kari attended international schools as a kid and served as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Morocco. She holds a BA in Government from Smith College and a MA in International Affairs from New School University. She currently teaches DP History and Grade 9 Individuals & Societies at The KAUST School in Saudi Arabia and spends her time running along the mangroves by the Red Sea and traversing the Arabian peninsula on road trips with her family.
