About me
Laci Hitchcock is an Apple Learning Coach and National Board Certified Teacher with a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is currently a Grade 3 teacher at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi and has taught internationally in Bahrain, Suriname, Dubai, and Hawai‘i. She has also served as a Curriculum Coordinator, literacy coach, and Director of Teaching and Learning. Laci is passionate about literacy, fostering students’ curiosity about language, developing understanding of word structure and meaning, and using inquiry-based approaches to empower learners. She believes in cultivating critical thinking and hands-on exploration to help students become confident, engaged readers.
